How I Stay Healthy During Viral Season (And Year Round!)

I am exposed to people sick with viruses daily.

And I do not get sick often. I get sick maybe about once per year with a doozy. The last time I got sick was October 2021 when I got COVID, 9 months after my second dose of my primary series, just as vaccine-induced immunity started to wane. I had not gotten my vaccine booster yet, so nature boosted me ! This was also around the time I got lax about social distancing. It was a perfect storm and one I hope to never repeat.

Watch the video to hear the 7 pillars of health I follow.

How I Stay Healthy During Viral Season and Year Round

I follow 7 Pillars Of Health to keep my immune system strong during viral season and year round:

1) Plant-based diet with limited highly processed foods

2) Cardio exercise 4 times per week plus yoga at The Union Wellness Boutique with Coach Sandy

4) I get my Flu Shots and COVID boosters each year.

5) I spend time outdoors earthing

6) I wash my hands. I have been washing my hands A LOT since before it was cool.

7) I wear a mask in clinic when I am around sick people and to avoid spreading germs to my patients.
