What is PANS/PANDAS?
PANS (Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) and PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal infections) are conditions that result in a sudden and dramatic onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms. Dr. Adame is an expert in the treatment of PANDAS/PANS and other complex conditions.
PANS/PANDAS Clinic

Receive a comprehensive evaluation and personalized treatment plan. Begin your child's healing journey by registering for a group info session to ensure we're the right fit for your family.
Virtual PANS/PANDAS Consultation
Includes a comprehensive review of your child's medical records, 90-minute virtual consultation (your local physician is welcome to join), and detailed written report with diagnostic and treatment recommendations.
Do you accept Insurance?
As a concierge-style, direct primary care (DPC) practice, we do not bill insurance for any services we offer directly. We contract directly with our patients through a monthly membership fee. Patients with insurance are welcome to join our practice and use their insurance for services outside of our clinic such as send-out labs, diagnostic tests such as X-rays, consultations with specialists, and medications obtained at the pharmacy. We also welcome patients without insurance. By not billing through insurance, we work for YOU, not the insurance company.

What is DPC?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an innovative, membership-based healthcare model. Instead of billing insurance, patients pay a flat monthly fee. This gives us the freedom to provide comprehensive pediatric services with a focus on personalized care, longer appointment times, and direct access to our team. Our goal is to make your child's healthcare straightforward, accessible, and centered around their needs. We are accountable to you, not the insurance company, the government, private equity, or a soul-less corporation.
What's included in DPC Membership?
Membership benefits include:
a. Well-Child Visits & Sick Visits: Routine check-ups and same-day or next-day appointments when your child is ill.
b. Immunizations: Keeping your child's vaccinations up-to-date.
c. Developmental Screening: Monitoring your child's growth and development and comprehensive assessments when indicated.
d. Chronic Condition Management: Ongoing care for conditions like asthma, allergies, acne, digestive health, mental health and more under the expert care of Dr. Adame.
e. Adolescent Care: Specialized care for the unique needs of teenagers and young adults. Many of our patients attend Culver Academies and stay with us through their college years.
How do I become a member of Culver Peds?
Attend our next Info Session. Reserve your spot by scheduling a group info session for Pediatrics Concierge Services or our PANDAS/PANS Clinic using the corresponding blue button. Culver Academies students can enroll without a group info session.
Do you see patients from out of state?
Yes, we absolutely welcome out-of-state patients! However, to establish care, your child must be seen in person at our Culver clinic within a few weeks of enrolling and before Dr. Adame can prescribe medications. This visit also allows her to complete a baseline physical exam, which is important for ongoing care.
Most follow-up visits can be done virtually, and Dr. Adame is licensed in Indiana and Ohio.
For PANDAS/PANS patients, we offer a virtual option if you have a local physician to help implement Dr. Adame’s treatment plan.
Make the trip part of the experience — Culver is a beautiful small town by the lake, perfect for a day visit or short overnight stay!
