WFPB Lunch Workshop: Foods To Consume During Menopause

Most persons with a uterus experience menopause symptoms in their 40’s, but will not reach menopause until early 50’s.

Our bodies experience many changes during this transition, including lowered basal metabolic rate and bone loss.

Certain foods can help your body adjust to the transition and keep you strong and healthy.

Menopause-Friendly foods include:

  • Green and leafy veggies

  • All other veggies

  • Fruits

  • Whole Grains Like Quinoa

  • Soy Products like Tofu (For some women, the phytoestrogens in soy may relieve menopause symptoms)

  • Legumes like chickpeas, beans, and lentils

Our WFPB Lunch Workshops include many of the foods that alleviate the transition to menopause. Next workshop is September 13. Register now to reserve your spot.
