Our Clinic program is a full-service, long-term care pathway. When families enroll in our clinic, we begin with an in-person visit to establish care and complete a thorough evaluation. From there, follow-ups can be virtual, but we remain actively involved in treatment, monitoring, and communication every step of the way.

Our Virtual Consult Program is designed for families who are unable to travel to our office AND wish to continue working with their local physician. Through this program, we offer a one-time expert review, a detailed written care plan, and clinical guidance — but we do not perform exams, prescribe medications, or provide ongoing direct medical care. Your local doctor executes the recommended care plan in partnership with you.

We understand that caring for a child with PANS/PANDAS can bring up many ongoing questions. After your consultation, if you have any ongoing questions you can direct them to your trusted local physician, who will have Dr. Adame’s detailed consultation notes to help guide next steps. If your doctor needs further input, they’re welcome to reach out to Dr. Adame's team directly to schedule a doctor to doctor phone call or they can ask the question through email.

We want your consultation to be as thorough and helpful as possible. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience:

Submit Medical Records Promptly: Have your child’s PANDAS-related medical records ready to fax or email to us as soon as you enroll.

Request a Physician Summary: Ask your local treating physician to send us a brief summary including date of symptom onset, diagnostic testing, treatments tried (and their effectiveness), and current treatment goals.

Allow Time for Review: You will be able to self-schedule your 90 minute Virtual Consultation appointment once you enroll. Please self-schedule this appointment on the SigmaMD app at least two weeks after submitting records. This gives Dr. Adame and our team time to thoughtfully review your child’s case.

Complete Required Forms: Complete all required forms as soon as you enroll. The links to the forms are found in your appointment details on the SigmaMD app once you self schedule your Virtual Consultation appointment.

Yes, you can transition to our PANDAS/PANS Clinic after your Virtual Consultation. When you're ready for Dr. Adame to take over care, just let us know, and we'll begin the $250/month membership, which includes direct access to our team, messaging, and self-scheduling follow up appointments via the SigmaMD app. We're here to support you every step of the way.
