Free Autism Screens in April
April is Autism Awareness Month. We are offering free autism screens for all children in the community ages 18 months to 11 years during the month of April at no cost. This is not a diagnostic evaluation. There is no single test to determine if a child has autism. A diagnosis of autism requires an in-depth review of developmental history and observation of behavior.
To screen for autism, we use a brief questionnaire to determine if your child exhibits signs that may be consistent with autism or neurodiversity. If your child has a positive screen, we recommend that you follow up with their doctor to discuss if further evaluation is indicated.
