This is a Culver Peds mom. She is a busy mother of three and a business owner of a local beloved Coffee Shop.

I advised allergy testing, but , busy mother of three, businesses owner….finding the time for her to come to our clinic to get her blood drawn for the allergy testing was a challenge. Sound familiar? Exactly, because that is most moms out there. We are too busy taking care of others to take care of ourselves!

That’s why at Culver Peds we think outside the box for solutions to help our families.

A few weeks ago, Nurse Becca and I went to go have lunch at her coffee shop. Our Culver Peds mom happened to be there, and Nurse Becca, being the badass that she is, offered to draw her labs right there. The mom agreed.

When her results came back, I drafted a multi-step treatment plan for her. Two weeks into the recommendations, she shared this photo and testimonial on Facebook: “Thank you and Becca for figuring out I am a walking allergy. Two weeks in (minus two days) my skin is almost clear, swelling down, and loving life a lot more.”

Nurse Becca and I, the #CulverDreamTeam, are honored to have the freedom and flexibility to help our families in ways that we absolutely could not have done so in corporate medicine.
